Many consumers are worried if the use of compatible or aftermarket printing supplies will void their printer's warranty. The answer is no.
More simply put, this means that your printer warranty cannot be voided just because you choose to use compatible products unless the manufacturer can prove that the compatible product caused direct damage to your printer. In cases such as this, the manufacturer may choose not to repair your printer but your warranty would remain in effect for all other warranty issues.

Canon TR7620 Ink FAQs
What ink does the Canon TR7620 use?
The Canon PIXMA TR7620 uses five (5) ink cartridge colors: one (1) Canon PGI-280 pigment-based black cartridge, one (1) CLI-281 black dye-based ChromaLife ink cartridge, and one (1) cyan CLI-281 ChromaLife cartridge, one (1) yellow CLI-281 ChromaLife, and one (1) magenta CLI-281 ChromaLife cartridge. Compatible third-party Canon PGI-280 and CLI-281 ink replacements perform well with Canon PIXMA TR7620 printers. How do I change the ink in my Canon TR7620?
1. First, make sure your Canon TR7620 printer is powered on. Lift up the scanning unit, the print head will start moving. Do not force it to stop, it will stop automatically. When the print head stops moving, you can start removing the ink cartridges.2. To remove the empty ink cartridge, push the tab at the front of the cartridge, gently push it up and then lift the empty ink tank. Set aside for recycling. Be careful as the empty ink tank may have some ink outside the nozzles and can stain your clothes if it comes into contact.
3. Remove packaging from your new Canon TR7620 ink cartridge. Make sure to remove the protective film and peel off the orange tape completely. Not doing this can cause printer problems. Pull off the orange protective cap gently.
4. Insert the new ink tank into the empty slot at a slant. Make sure the cartridge is positioned in a way that it the ink tank's initial matches the initial on the guide/label.
5. Push down the top of the ink cartridge until it snaps into place.
6. Close the scanner unit. Give your printer some time to identify the newly installed cartridge. You're now ready to print!
