This photo cartridge is ideal for printing better and more vivacious photo images. It replaces your black cartridge in your printer, and offers additional color range. It is 1/3 black, 1/3 light cyan and 1/3 light magenta increasing your range from the basic 4 (black, cyan, magenta, and yellow) to 6 colors. If you print mostly text, however, we recommend you use your black cartridge instead, since this photo cartridge has only a 1/3 of the amount of black and will have to be replaced entirely if you use up all the black, even if the light cyan and the light magenta sections are still full.
